The transcript tab: read the video instead

Sometimes a summary isn’t enough and watching is too slow — you want the actual words. The Transcript tab puts the full transcript beside the player, playback-synced, so the text follows the video and clicking around the transcript is how you navigate. One-click copy grabs the whole thing when you need it in your notes or anywhere else.

Reading a transcript takes a fraction of the video’s runtime — for dense technical content or interviews, it’s usually the better format anyway. Fifteen minutes of reading versus an hour of watching is not a close call.

The chat tab: ask the video a question

Third tab: Chat (a Pro feature). Ask a question — “what did she say about pricing?”, “which study does he cite on sleep?” — and get an answer drawn from that video’s transcript. It replaces the worst version of this job: scrubbing back and forth across a timeline hunting for a half-remembered moment.

Summary answers “is this worth watching?”; chat answers “what did they actually say about X?” — different questions, same card.

Save it, and the transcript comes along
