Can I sync Marqly across devices?

Yes. Sync is built into how Marqly works: your library lives in your account, not in any one browser or device. Save a page from the Chrome extension at work, and it’s already in the web app, in Firefox at home, and in the iOS app on your phone — same saves, same tags, same highlights. There’s no sync button, no pairing step, and nothing to configure.

How it works

Every Marqly surface — the extensions for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, the web app at app.marqly.com, and the iOS app — signs in to the same account. Anything you save from one shows up in all the others, because they’re all windows onto the same library. That’s also why there’s no “sync conflict” to resolve: there’s one source of truth, your account.

What follows you across devices

• Saves — every article, video, and link, from one-click saves to whole tab-saver batches
• Tags — both the ones AI applies automatically and any you add yourself
• Highlights — text you highlight on pages syncs to your library, and highlights reappear on the page when you revisit it in a browser with the extension
• Summaries — AI summaries of your saved articles

Typical multi-device setups

The common pattern: save at a desk, retrieve everywhere. Heavy saving happens in a desktop browser — the extension’s one-click save, the side panel, the YouTube card — while the phone is where you look things up. The one requirement: a connection

Because your library lives in your account, reaching it requires being online — Marqly has no offline mode, and we say so plainly in does Marqly work offline. The flip side is that no device ever holds the only copy of your bookmarks: lose a laptop, and your library is untouched.
