Can I get a refund on Marqly?

Marqly offers a 7-day free trial so you can test Pro before paying. Refund requests go to support@marqly.com and are reviewed case by case — just ask.

Marqly handles refund requests case by case — email support@marqly.com with your account email and the reason, and a human will review it. There’s no published automatic refund window, which is why the 7-day free trial exists: it lets you test everything Pro offers before any money changes hands, so most people never need to ask for a refund in the first place.

Use the trial first

The honest advice: don’t pay until you’ve used the trial. Seven days is enough to save real bookmarks, run semantic searches, and try the chat features on your actual library. The free tier also requires no card, so you can evaluate the core experience for as long as you like before touching Pro. What happens after the trial is covered in what happens when my trial ends.

How to request a refund

Email support@marqly.com and include:

  • The email address on your Marqly account
  • The date and amount of the charge
  • A short note on why you’re asking

Requests are reviewed individually. Charged right after forgetting to cancel? Hit a bug that blocked you from using what you paid for? Say so — context helps. What we won’t do is promise a blanket “no-questions-asked X-day guarantee” here that isn’t backed by the terms.

Avoiding the situation entirely

Two practical tips. First, if you’re unsure about a full year, start with the $8 monthly plan and switch to annual later — the pricing breakdown shows the difference. Second, if you’ve decided to leave, cancel your subscription before the next renewal date; you keep Pro access until the period ends either way, so there’s no reason to wait.
